Bold rich aroma with hints of cedar, honey and toast. Medium malic feel with bold body. Fruited notes in the flavour, Sweet citrus (lime/ sweet grapefruit) with a hint of earthiness leaving a creamy mouth-feel. Has some cocoa powder notes and vanilla in the after-taste.

The Coffee is a Washed Arabica typically grown at an altitude of 1500-2100m and is washed (wet processed)
The coffee is selected from a co-op of several farms located in the region Kirundo – Muyinga known for the high quality of the coffee grown there. The coffee is grown at an average altitude of 1600-1900m at a constant temperature of about 21°C, which is an ideal environment for the production of Arabica coffee. There are about 25 million coffee plants in Burundi – predominantly of the Bourbon variety.
